SW Engineer II (f/t)

Job Description:

• Designing, developing, and delivering Java, C++, XML, and Angular software for Android applications for Point-ofSale devices and payment applications.
• Writing unit tests in Java and C++ and assisting the Quality Assurance team in automation testing in Java and Appium.
• Working on automating deployment through Internal Store Release Manager, lngenico store.
• Writing technical documentation on Confluence and linking to Jira tickets for code written.
• Working on Jira tickets to fix bugs or adding new features.
• Working on Github, Android Studio, Visual Studio Code, Xcode, Docker, and Postman.
• Participating in architecture and feature planning to introduce new features.
• Completing peer code reviews to help other team members in GitHub.
• Ensuring interoperability with third-party products such as lngenico Gateway and Secure Pay Payment Gateway, operating systems, and existing software.
• Maintaining the GitHub repository and GitHub Actions to perform checks for each Pull Request.
• Working with Android SDK, NDK, RXJava, Dagger 2, ModelViewViewModel, Redux, and Protobuf.
• The position is eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related technical field and two (2) years of experience in a software development occupation.

Experience must include:

• Two (2) years of experience with Android;
• Two (2) years of experience with Java; and
• Two (2) years of experience with unit and automation testing.

OR

Master's degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related technical field and demonstrated knowledge** of:

Knowledge must include:

• Software development,
• Android and Java, and

• Unit and automation testing .

• Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of a U.S. degree will be accepted.

** Knowledge can be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.
