Role Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager & Campus Floater to join our passionate team full-time (M–F, 9:30am–6:00pm). This position requires a go-getter who takes initiative, stays organized, and can think on their feet in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in keeping our campus running smoothly—managing meal service with care and assisting in classrooms when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve three daily snacks according to school menus and dietary guidelines
  • Coordinate and distribute catered lunches to classrooms efficiently and safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food prep area
  • Manage kitchen inventory, food orders, and supplies
  • Assist teachers in classrooms as a campus floater during the afternoon
  • Build positive relationships with staff and children while maintaining professionalism
  • Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Support school operations as needed and take initiative to help where needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in food service, childcare, or a preschool setting preferred
  • Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain) required
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain active throughout the day
  • Must pass background check and drug test
