Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the financial services industry and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) on the Supervision Enablement team, you will deliver meaningful process improvements by designing and implementing automated workflows using Alteryx to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency for the Supervision team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data integration and strong problem-solving skills to source disparate data points and develop logical frameworks that transform raw information into highly efficient, automated workflows. This role requires exceptional business judgment, leadership skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across the organization. You will serve as a key partner in shaping solutions that enhance supervisory processes and deliver high impact business results.

Responsibilities:

The AVP role will support and collaborate across the organization to deliver large-scale solutions across a variety of projects & initiatives.

  • Lead and own large-scale projects and strategic initiatives that impact the Supervision organization.
  • Drive end-to-end project execution, including planning, design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize processes by conducting stakeholder interviews to compile needs assessment, identify requirements, and support solution design.
  • Work cross-functionality to deliver & implement more efficient workflows by combining backend data sources in Alteryx.
  • Manage a portfolio of complex, high-impact Alteryx projects from inception to delivery while providing strategic direction and guidance for builds executed by junior analysts, ensuring alignment with business goal & accuracy.
  • Conduct data validation and process testing exercises, identifying defects and driving resolution. Mentor analysts in best practices for data sourcing, validation & testing to ensure workflows reliably achieve desired results.
  • Research and resolve unknowns independently by leveraging resources and navigating the organization to obtain information and drive execution.
  • Mentor & develop junior analysts by fostering skill development & providing guidance on technical skills, problem-solving, & testing/troubleshooting.
  • Drive continuous improvement by proposing ways to leverage data aggregation tools, automated workflows, or AI to streamline processes across our organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services industry
  • Advanced knowledge of data sourcing, extraction, quality and validation testing
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, python, and/or Alteryx
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Supervision, securities licenses a plus (7, 66/63)
  • Prior experience replacing manual workflows by aggregating data to create automated or more efficient solutions

Pay Range:

$96,788-$161,313/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
