We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences.What the position is:  The Inflight Standards and Compliance Specialist plays a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing CommuteAir's service quality, safety procedures, and operational standards. You'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving inflight service protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support and training to our inflight crews. The Inflight Standards and Compliance Specialist is delegated the authority to review, maintain, modify and update Inflight Manuals including the Flight Attendant Manual, Flight Attendant Training Manual, Inflight Quick Reference Guides and Uniform Guidelines. Ensuring each Inflight crewmember has the written policy/procedures necessary to support CommuteAir's mission to provide safe, caring, dependable and efficient value to our customers and ensure their operational readiness and safety effectiveness. Job Responsibilities Create updates and revisions to maintain quality assurance and accuracy of the Flight Attendant Manual set and the Flight Attendant Training Manual. Work collaboratively with a diverse team (department managers and supervisors, subject matter experts, instructional staff, program developers) to research, develop and implement effective manual language and procedures for Inflight Operations. Provide timely status updates and reports on assigned projects and organizational performance to department leaders. Develop, maintain, and monitor the department quality assurance review process of all existing and new manual processes. Collaborate with flight operations SMEs to plan, direct, and verify that manual language and processes comply with instructional courseware and applicable regulatory requirements. Support practices, processes, and technologies to streamline, improve, and ensure the cost-effectiveness of Inflight projects and programs. Responsible of drafting, recording, and distributing memorandums as needed.Support the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.Research and report information vital to the continual development and improvement of operational procedures. Provide technical support associated with creating and maintaining courses in the company Learning Management System. May serve as a ground instructor and/or supervisor/check flight attendant as qualified.General requirements & qualifications:Inflight Standards and Compliance Specialist must possess strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations, CFR Part 121, and CommuteAir operating standards.Working knowledge of the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Flight Attendant Handbook (FAH), MINT and NavBlue.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Possess excellent verbal and written communication, time management, interpersonal skills and executive-level presentation skills.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards.Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Previous Flight Attendant experienceHigh school Graduate or equivalentMust be able to read, write, and speak English.If hired, must be able to demonstrate that your authorized to work in the US.Previous experience as an Inflight Supervisor, Air Transportation Supervisor, and/or member of Inflight Management
