Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Medical Aesthetician to join our team of aesthetic professionals. The ideal candidate is results-driven, patient-focused, and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience while helping patients look and feel their best. This role combines advanced skincare expertise with a deep understanding of medical-grade treatments and product knowledge to deliver safe, effective, and customized services.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Treatment

  • Perform a variety of aesthetic treatments, including facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, laser hair reducation and other advanced skin procedures.
  • Evaluate skin concerns and develop customized treatment plans to achieve each patient's goals.
  • Provide thorough pre- and post-treatment instructions to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a warm, professional, and trustworthy relationship with patients to encourage retention and loyalty.

Clinical Operations

  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness for each patient.
  • Maintain compliance with all OSHA, HIPAA, and MedSpa protocols.
  • Accurately document treatments, notes, and recommendations in the EMR system.
  • Manage product inventory and assist with restocking when needed.

Sales & Product Knowledge

  • Educate patients on homecare regimens and recommend medical-grade skincare products to support their treatment results.
  • Actively contribute to monthly retail and service goals.
  • Stay current on product lines, skincare technology, and new industry trends.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with providers and front desk staff to ensure seamless patient flow and excellent service.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Support special events, marketing initiatives, and social media efforts when needed.
  • Perform other duties or projects as requested to support the team and practice operations.

Qualifications:

  • Current Hawaii Aesthetician License required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or cosmetic practice preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced skin treatments (chemical peels, dermaplaning, DiamondGlow, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of skincare ingredients, medical-grade products, and treatment pairing.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about aesthetics and patient results.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time or part-time position
  • Schedule may include some evenings or weekends based on clinic needs
  • Competitive hourly rate and service commission based on experience
