Pay:
$20 - $25/hour based on experience + performance pay

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM

Examples Of Worked Performed For In Home Repair Technician

  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers' requests and concerns.
  • Schedule date and time for all service calls with customers.
  • Drive to customer homes and perform maintenance/repairs/cleaning on requested merchandise inside the customer's home.
  • Must attempt to repair or clean furniture.
  • Face to face interaction with customers regarding warranties.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts on hand, parts used, etc.
  • Must keep detailed reports on all service calls.
  • Report all service calls to Customer Service.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR IN HOME REPAIR TECHNICIAN:
Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; ability to communicate effectively with team members; must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver's license required with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; proven work history of repairing furniture, working with customers, and maintaining a professional work attitude at all times; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work:
Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:
Occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
