Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Robot Framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate keyword-based test libraries into existing automation infrastructure.
  • Develop automation scripts for embedded systems running QNX OS, Linux, and Android.
  • Interface with hardware components including USB, Ethernet, serial, audio, and display devices for validation and testing.
  • Support test execution in various environments: developer desktop, virtual racks (AWS), mini racks, and full physical racks.
  • Integrate and manage automation pipelines within GitLab CI/CD environments.
  • Assist in porting Robot Framework tests into Pytest suites within the Panasonic Avionics infrastructure.
  • Conduct system-level testing including touch screen simulation, A/V interfaces, USB, and Bluetooth communication.
  • Provide technical guidance to improve automation scalability, maintainability, and framework evolution.
  • Collaborate closely with teams in avionics and embedded systems domains to ensure test robustness and performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in test automation and framework development.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.
  • Proven expertise in Robot Framework and Pytest (including keyword-driven and tagging-based test design).
  • Working knowledge of QNX, Linux, and Android-based embedded systems.
  • Experience with hardware interfacing: USB, serial, Ethernet, audio, and display interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools – preferably GitLab runners, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, and Docker.
  • Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies (AWS, virtual racks, or similar).
  • Exposure to aerospace, avionics, or automotive infotainment systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with hardware-software integration and test orchestration systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
