At Paving Pathways ABA Services we pride ourselves on offering high-quality therapeutic services to our clients while treating both clients and employees with the respect they deserve.

We currently have 2 part-time jobs available for specific clients located in Springfield, VA. Jobs are built around afternoon, evening and weekend hours. They are set up to provide employees with an actual work/life balance. We provide you with all the training and support you need in the beginning of your work and throughout the long term. We want you to be part of a team so we prioritize collaboration and communication across all employees.

What sets us apart?

  • Custom treatment plans. Our treatment programs are tailored to fit each client with a focus on each family's specific needs.
  • Attachment based/Trauma-informed. While our BCBAs focus on data-driven goals, we are also careful to address and incorporate the individual emotional needs of each client and their families. We take a holistic and emotionally informed approach to ABA.
  • Whole-family approach. We engage all parents/caregivers in ongoing ABA education so that they can understand and participate fully in their child's progress. We find that this keeps parents/caregivers invested in our treatment approach while allowing us to work with them on a more meaningful level.
  • Cutting edge practices. All of our BCBAs are engaged in continuous education and are continually incorporating the latest techniques and practices. Our techniques are always evolving.
  • Open-door Policy. As part of our culture of respect and communication we foster an open-door policy with our team. You can come to us at any time about anything and you will be heard and thoughtfully considered.

Who are we?

  • Paving Pathways is a growing ABA practice in Northern Virginia and Prince George's and Southern MD. We have been in operation for more than a decade. We provide in-home and in-school Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. The majority of our clients are between three to ten years old, but do range from 2-21.
  • Our office is in Springfield, but we provide services to clients as far south as Woodbridge, as far north as Arlington and as far west as Centreville. Travel time between clients is compensated.
  • Our team is comprised of four BCBAs, a Lead RBT, and several RBTs

What are we looking for?

  • Someone who enjoys working with children and families.
  • Technicians who are dedicated to outcomes based treatments.
  • Registered Behavior Technician, those who want to be or BCBA students.

Position Details:

  • Implementing in-home behavioral programming with children and their caregivers
  • 20-40 hours a week spread among 1 or more clients
  • We currently have 2 part-time positions available
  • Position can provide supervision hours towards BCBA, BCaBA or RBT certification
  • Attendance at monthly staff meeting at office in Springfield

Requirements:

  • Registered Behavior Technician or willing to get RBT certification
  • Applicants can also be a BCBA student
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Requires note-taking and data recording skills
  • Requires basic computer skills

Compensation:

  • $25-30/hr depending on experience
  • Paid travel time between clients
  • Paid RBT certification
  • Health and Dental Insurance available
