Full-Time Caregiver Needed (Night Shift)
Schedule: MONDAY-WEDNSADAY, 8 AM –11 AM - 12 pm (3-4 hours)
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to join our team for a full-time overnight position.
Requirements:
HCA / CNA / NAR — Required
Food Handler Card — Required
CPR / First Aid Certification — Required
12 Hours of Continuing Education — Required
Nurse Delegation — Preferred
Dementia Specialty — Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying needs including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring the health and safety of residents.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support residents in mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members through effective communication and empathy.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including those requiring behavior management or direct support.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments, retirement homes, personal care homes, or group homes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond appropriately in emergencies.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in caregiving tasks.
