Operates and performs adjustments to laboratory equipment and instruments.
This position includes the handling of biological and chemical components, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials.
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Execution of instructions to manufacture chemical and biological reagents
- Verification of data in batch records
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment (e.g. pH and conductivity meters)
- Lab duties as required (e.g. restocking and sanitizing workstations)
- Use of SAP software for production transactions and inventory control
- Knowledge and use of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
- Maintaining compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements
- Demonstrating professionalism and inclusion in the workplace
- Fostering a team environment
- Developing technical skills with the support of management and team members

- Previous experience working in a cGMP manufacturing laboratory, or a similar lab environment
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- BS/BA in related discipline, or an AS/AA with a focus on the sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0-2 years of lab experience
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent laboratory technique and attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and in a team setting
- Must pass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check
- Ability to work weekends as part of routine schedule

The base pay range for this position is:
Min $46,040 - Max $69,060
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
