Our client is a trading platform/exchange that enables investors to buy & sell equities for over 10,000 companies ranging from start-ups to established companies. The company offers data licensing, corporate services, and trading technology to its clients. They are seeking a mid-level candidate to work across the trade desk support and operations function of the organization.

Job Title:
Trade Desk Support/Operations Specialist

Location:
Office in Manhattan - onsite 5x per week. Candidates must be local to NYC metro area and comfortable working onsite 5x per week to be considered. No sponsorship can be provided - must be eligible to work for any US employer (US Citizen or Green Card Holder)

Required Technology And Skills

  • 3+ years professional experience in trade desk support - ensuring trade execution, pre and post-trade processing, driving compliance, and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Hands-on experience across trade desk support & operations, and resolving issues
  • Experience monitoring trade flows, escalation, and reconciliation of trades
  • Experience supporting compliance initiatives and protocols
  • Great communication and customer service skills - attentive, strong written & verbal communication, detail-oriented
  • Working knowledge of trade reporting platforms, equity markets, clearing processes, and trade support systems and protocols (FIX, OMS/EMS, etc.)
  • Series 7
  • SQL skills
  • Experience/knowledge of Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) reporting & compliance

Additional Skills

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, IT, or related field
  • Strong interest in finance/trading/equity space
  • Experience supporting financial applications / trading systems in mission-critical & high-pressure environment

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 base salary (based one experience), plus annual 15% annual cash bonus (Based on experience)
