Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization toward achieving its mission and goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving organizational success. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring effective management of resources, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.

Duties

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the organization.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business development and growth.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, community partners, funding organizations and local government.
  • Monitor organizational performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.

Membership Development

  • Recruit, retain and engage member businesses
  • Ensure consistent communication and high-value member services.
  • Plan and execute membership events, networking programs and workshops.

Marketing & Communication

  • Develop and manage public relations, newsletters and social media content
  • Promote Chamber events, benefits and business spotlights
  • Serves as the public face of the Chamber in media and community communications to include social media

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as an Executive Director or similar position.
  • Strong management skills with a track record of leading diverse teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and business development.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
  • Experience in process improvement techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of operations management principles within a nonprofit or similar environment.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate others toward achieving common goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media and CRM tools

Salary & Benefits
