The Administrator on Duty is responsible for providing administrative oversight to the students and staff of the Children's Residential Program in the absence of the Assistant Director of Children's Services and Residential Coordinators during evening and weekend hours.   The primary purpose of the AOD is to support and monitor the appropriate, safe, and effective implementation of program activities and agency procedures as well as respond to and direct activities during crisis situations. 

QUALITY OF LIFE EXPECTATION FOR ALL STAFF:

To actively further the agency's mission to optimize quality of life (QofL) for individuals served by monitoring and implementing systems that promote the QofL of the individuals in our care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Under the general supervision of the Administrator on Duty – Coordinator, the AOD will ensure optimal staffing is maintained in all campus residences.
  • The AOD monitors and supports the implementation of program activities and agency procedures in all campus residences.
  • The AOD acts as the campus liaison for all incidents, emergencies and crisis situations providing support, guidance and oversight to students and staff.
  • The AOD assumes an initial role with all incident management activities.
  • The AOD develops and/or maintains all student and staff information systems, staff schedules and other pertinent documents that support the daily operation of the program.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services preferred or a combination of education and experience to perform the responsibilities of the position.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain agency driving privileges.
  • Must obtain and subsequently maintain qualifications in all health, safety and crisis intervention procedures of the agency, such as First Aid, CPR, SCIP-R and medication administration certification.
