About the Role

Doctors House Calls of Florida is expanding our in-home primary care team and seeking an experienced APRN or PA to provide mobile primary care services to patients across Martin and Port St. Lucie County.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with full scheduling flexibility and the potential to earn $25K–$140K+ annually, depending on visit volume and availability.

This is ideal for clinicians who love autonomy, patient connection, and making a real difference in community-based care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home primary care to patients within Martin & St. Lucie County
  • Travel between patient homes (mileage reimbursed)
  • Conduct routine check-ups and physical exams
  • Diagnose and manage common illnesses and chronic conditions
  • Prescribe and manage medications
  • Order and interpret diagnostic results
  • Maintain clinical documentation within Athena Health
  • Communicate with the support team as needed
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and attend quarterly meetings
  • Maintain professional equipment (BP cuff, stethoscope, etc.)

Typical Schedule

  • Available work hours are typically Monday–Friday between 8 AM – 6 PM
  • Weekends optional but available
  • Flex your hours and visit volume weekly based on personal availability

Requirements

  • Licensed APRN or PA in the state of Florida (Physicians also considered at higher rates)
  • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
  • Primary Care experience strongly preferred
  • Home health or in-home assessment experience highly valued
  • Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within Martin & St. Lucie County
  • Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
  • You must be comfortable using your own electronic device for documentation

Additional Information

  • Doctors House Calls manages over 1,000 patients between Melbourne and Miami
  • Shadowing and training completed in the Stuart office
  • Compensation is based on visit level and duration; exact rates provided separately
  • A physician may also be hired for similar work at a higher compensation tier
