ToyotaLift Northeast is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our service team

What You'll Do

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all types of equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Effectively analyzes problem situations pertaining to breakdowns of customer equipment
  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts requisitions
  • Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools
  • Maintains parts and supplies inventory in service van
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Need to maintain a valid drivers license
  • 2+ years of mechanical experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and fellow employees

Travel Requirements

  • This position will be based in the field and require daily travel within assigned territories
  • Technicians will be provided a company vehicle and a company fuel card

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to stand/walk for 10 hours
  • Must be able to talk, hear, and speak with good articulation and voice focus
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus
