Job title: Hybrid Controls Engineer

Role Description:

Experience with Model Based Development Tools like Matlab Simulink, Stateflow Expert in Control System Design and Development for Powertrain applications using MATLAB. Expert in Thermal Management, Torque Controls Development, Torque Security Expert in Embedded Software Development Proficient in Code generation using RTW Experience on M-scripting and debugging Knowledge of microcontrollers (preferably Freescale) Knowledge of SDLC Fundamental knowledge of Hybrid, Electric automotive architectures.

Essential Skills:

SKILLS REQUIRED:

EIS : Simulink/Matlab

Desirable Skills:

Model Based Development for Hybrid Control Unit in for Thermal Management, heat transfer, fluid dynamics

Support for Development of hybrid operating strategies, electrified powertrain control and optimization strategies

Manage customer software requirements

Investigate and resolve system and software feature anomalies using debugging tools

Provide structured feedback on the tasks assigned as well as anticipated new tasks that are foreseen to the immediate supervisors and manager

Contribute actively in the weekly team meeting regarding process improvements, test methodology and operations at a team level.

Coordination experience with other stake holders for data gathering/ resolution
