Lead Product Engineer

The Lead Product Engineer is associated with the manufacturing processes used to make turbine airfoils. In this role, you will impact departmental operations and be responsible for planning and execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
- Implement process changes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Ownership of methods, programs, routers, and SPS substantiation for assigned products
- Collaborate with operations team to implement process improvements to production lines
- Guide equipment and/or process changes through the Management of Change (MOC) process
- Responsible for tooling design and procurement with input from cross-functional team
- Responsible for incorporating changes in drawing (CID) for assigned products
- Interface with cross-functional team including Operations, Tech Support, Maintenance, Quality and external vendors
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering)
- At least an additional 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Project management experience
- Experience analyzing and resolving problems
- Experience leading programs and/or projects
- Experience documenting, planning, and executing projects
