Summary

We are seeking a passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team at Maud Lindsay Academy. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the lives of young children by creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment that encourages their development and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that engage children in learning.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment for all students.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress and adapt activities as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and daily activities.
  • Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes exploration and creativity.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to create an inclusive environment for all children.
