Opportunity Overview

The Hardware Verification Team within the Integrated Systems Test Group is responsible for verifying that the system components meet design specifications prior to customer shipment. Our products include the HDD, SSD and SLT test platforms and we are looking for a motivated and energetic senior hardware verification/test development engineer to join us in a fast paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment

  • Project team participation as the hardware test/verification representative
  • Developing test processes for new products including: the test strategy, test tools, test software, deployment, training, and support
  • Defect investigation and root cause analysis
  • Support self-diagnostics for our testers including SW support, feature implementation, and deploying to internal and external customers
  • Prototypes bring up and facilitate design verification activities
  • Collaboration with a global workforce which may include travel to production sites and occasional off-hours remote support

  • AS or higher degree in EE or related field
  • 12+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with hardware verification and test development during NPI
  • Some programming experience: C/C+, C#, Java, Python, scripting (Windows/Linux)
  • Experience with communication protocols including:
    • SPI, UART, I2C, JTAG, USB, PCIE and Ethernet
  • Experience with testing electro-mechanical assemblies that include pneumatics
  • Linux basics and working knowledge of embedded systems and associated programming
  • Ability to work on multi-discipline teams as well as work independently
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with leak testing of fluid systems

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $98, ,300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
