Duties

Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Responsible for a moderate number of work efforts simultaneously that vary from a smaller to a moderate scale, with a smaller number of hours to a moderate number of hours, and with moderate system impacts and moderate scope and complexity. Adheres to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet ISSM expectations. Monitors project plans, assignments, and work efforts on a daily basis. Ensures resource needs are assigned appropriately and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues. Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of work effort. Responsible for leading the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation.

  • 25% Develops and monitors project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation from scope to post-implementation. Ensures project documentation and deliverables are complete, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with standards.
  • 20% Identifies items that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort. Monitors resource requirements based on project specifications. Ensures resources are assigned to meet project objectives while managing project hours budgeted.
  • 20% Responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of project communications. Facilitates effective communications between all parties involved in the project and/or work efforts. This will include meetings, correspondence, status reports, and other documentation.
  • 20% Identifies the impact of issues arising from the work efforts and/or resource requirements. Manages the project issues throughout the project life cycle. Communicates the implications of changes to the project scope with senior management and other appropriate parties.
  • 15% Responsible for ensuring all work efforts have appropriate documentation for audit purposes utilizing project methodology standards in accordance with the ISSM.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-need clients, ensuring consistent communication and proactive engagement.
  • Provide personalized support to strengthen client satisfaction and long-term partnership.

Issue Resolution & Escalation Management

  • Respond rapidly to client concerns and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive timely and effective resolutions.
  • Act as an escalation point to ensure service continuity and client confidence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with product, operations, technical, and support teams to advocate for client needs.
  • Influence strategic initiatives by bringing forward client insights and operational realities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, track, and manage multiple project-oriented work efforts concurrently (small to moderate scale).
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, and in alignment with ISSM quality standards.
  • Monitor project plans, schedules, assignments, and dependencies on a daily basis.
  • Escalate timeline, resource, or quality issues as needed and re-align plans to meet project goals.
  • Lead work efforts from inception through final business acceptance and implementation.
  • Track key milestones, adjust project plans, and ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Adhere strictly to project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall) and PM best practices.

Required Technologies & Skills

  • Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling/project planning tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile technical environment with shifting priorities and vendor-driven timelines.
  • Strong communicator capable of explaining complex technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial aspects of project work.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.
  • Active certifications preferred/required:

  • PMP

  • CAPM
  • Scrum Master
  • SAFe Scaled Agile Certification
