Position Overview: As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by guiding new prospective clients through our company's "Buyer's Journey." You will lead prospects from Lead Generation/Initial Vision to Procurement, ensuring a smooth and value-driven process. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, nurturing relationships, and ensuring that every step of the buyer's journey is aligned with our company's goals and our client's needs. This position supports the state of Texas and the ideal candidate would be close to a major metro airport. This role has the following range of potential total compensation: 95k to 115k base salary and 95k to 115k target commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting, Lead Generation and Initial Vision Creation:

Proactively reach out to educational institutions and potential clients to understand their vision for using our AR/VR technology and software to improve learning outcomes. Understand prospective clients' current understanding of AR/VR technologies in teaching and learning.

  • Champion Identification and Consensus Building

Work closely with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, to build consensus around our solutions. Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations tailored to different stakeholders (e.g., educators, administrators, IT staff) to ensure buy-in at all levels of the organization.

  • Customer Due Diligence:

Collaborate with prospects as they evaluate our solutions by providing detailed product information, case studies, and references. Confirm the champion's shared vision matches the capabilities of zSpace and confirm the champion has the ability to take this vision forward for funding and approval in the institution.

  • Identify and Confirm Funding:

Assist clients in securing funding by providing detailed pricing information, value propositions, knowledge of funding sources, references of existing zSpace customers' funding mechanisms and data that demonstrate the long-term benefits of investing in our solutions.

  • Customer Approval:

Guide clients through internal approval processes by providing them with the necessary documentation, proposals, and business cases.

  • Procurement and Contract/PO Receipt:

Working with the Regional Director, assist in contract negotiations and finalize agreements, ensuring that both client and company interests are balanced and fully aligned.

  • Ongoing Relationship:

As it relates to generating further new business, maintain and nurture relationships post-sale to encourage renewals, upsells, and referrals.

  • Channel Management:

Develop and manage relationships with channel partner sales representatives.

Partner with channel partners to design and implement selling strategies to grow the pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the education software industry or education technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of the education sector and familiarity with edtech solutions. Prior employment in the education industry is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Process-oriented as it relates to following the zSpace buyer's journey.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM software and Google Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%-75% to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • An understanding of / experience in the AR/VR space is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $190, $230,000.00 per year
