Overview:

NorthStar Vascular Surgery Center is seeking a Full Time LVN to serve as part of the NorthStar Vascular team providing support to our interventional nephrologists and vascular procedures team in Fort Worth. This position is based out of our brand new ambulatory surgery center. At NorthStar, we provide the highest level of comprehensive dialysis vascular access care in 3 busy operating/procedure rooms. Procedures performed include: AV Fistula, grafts, de-clots, fistula grams, tunneled dialysis catheter placement and exchange, access maturation procedures.

  • Maintain electronic medical records in accordance with HIPPA guidelines
  • Must be comfortable with autonomy, critical thinking with open and clear communications

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Current LVN licensure
  • Current BLS
  • Skilled in Telemetry monitoring preferred
  • Vascular Access experience preferred
  • Experience in Vascular Lab, Cath Lab preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills - EPIC knowledge helpful
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
