It is the primary responsibility of the count room team member to ensure that revenue from Table Games and Slots as well as cash from the kiosks are dropped and counted in compliance with the Nevada Gaming Control Board standards and company internal controls.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Remove bill validator drop boxes from slot machines and replace with empty boxes.
  • Load bill validator boxes from slot machines on to cart and transport to count room.
  • Empty bill validator drop boxes from slot machines.
  • Empty Table Game boxes individually and in game order.
  • Trace and match fills/credit slips from Table Games drop boxes to the Master Games Summary Report and document any discrepancies.
  • Must be able to operate an MPS Cummins currency counter machine and upload end of day totals to the Audit department.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • The minimum age requirement is 21.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Nevada Gaming License required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to identify different denominations of gaming chips and currency and to count and stack chips and currency.
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written English.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to successfully work with a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, loud noises, and low lighting.
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours, including holidays.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to move around work area effectively and efficiently.
  • Must be able to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, reach and twist as necessary.
  • Must be able to move up to 25lbs.
