Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to optimize organizational resources.
  • Oversee the preparation and interpretation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
  • Manage corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, account analysis, and cash flow analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct risk analysis and develop risk management strategies to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance across governmental and non-profit sectors.
  • Supervise treasury management activities including investment management, liquidity planning, and cash flow optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements, including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Lead the development of financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other key financial metrics for executive review.
  • Drive strategic planning initiatives by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting models, and scenario planning to support organizational growth.
  • Oversee technical accounting functions such as accrual accounting, revenue management, cost accounting, and compliance management within public accounting frameworks.
  • Manage account reconciliation processes ensuring accuracy in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting.
  • Utilize advanced financial software tools for bookkeeping, account analysis, and financial report writing to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development projects to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
  • Foster leadership within the finance team by mentoring staff on best practices in financial concepts such as fiscal management, risk analysis, investment management, and cost control.

Experience

  • Proven experience in senior financial management roles with a strong background in corporate finance or public accounting environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS, IAS standards, GAAP regulations, ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition, and governmental accounting practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, risk management strategies, and regulatory reporting requirements across diverse sectors including non-profit organizations.
  • Strong proficiency with financial software systems used for general ledger reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable processing, and budgeting tools.
  • Exceptional skills in financial report writing and interpretation coupled with advanced analytical capabilities for profit & loss statements and cash flow analysis.
  • Experience leading strategic planning initiatives that align with organizational goals while managing investment portfolios effectively.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders while maintaining high standards of accuracy in all reports.
