General Purpose
The Valuation Coordinator I (VC I) supports property valuation efforts in the organization for the purpose of assigning and tracking valuation orders within the appraisal department and with outside vendors. Create and maintain and records of valuations ordered and received.
In This Position, You Will
- Communicates fee and turn time quotes; assigns and tracks valuation orders, consults with Appraisers and outside vendors on complex assignments and is familiar with A.I.R. practices, valuation terminology and systems.
- Confirms USPS address of all properties and performs property characteristics research prior to AMC assignments to ensure smooth customer experience.
- Identifies and escalates complex order delay issues to Sales teams and VC II and VC Manager.
- Reviews Advanced Fee Notices, processes credit cards and refunds, creates and maintains records or orders including receipts for fees collected prior to close; update the system of record.
- Supports Sales team by coordinating property characteristics research with collateral analysts.
- Communicates status on third party vendor orders and final value orders. Identifies high priority and complex status inquiries and escalates them to VC II and VC III.
- Reviews property information of received valuation reports with understanding of requirements. Assists collateral analysts with resolving and/or escalating issues regarding third party report revisions.
- Coordinates the assignment of valuation orders to Appraisers; reviews the final invoice for accuracy, reviews rent range and updates the system of record.
- Assigns reconsiderations of value (ROVs) and works independently within the shared email inbox.
- Communicates with other departments as needed. Escalates issues to Valuations Coordinator II and VC III.
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- This position may involve handling confidential and sensitive information as part of its daily responsibilities. Employees are expected to exercise discretion and protect all sensitive data, including but not limited to personal information, loan details, business and financial records, and proprietary materials.
Requirements
Successful candidates will possess:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 0-2 years of real estate appraisal experience (AMC preferred) and strong valuation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Real Estate methods, standards, and terminology required.
- Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office, LendingWise, and Mortgage Cadence.
- Experience using CoreLogic RealQuest, Mercury Network, and AppraisalScope.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Mercury Network preferred.
