Description
We're looking for a passionate and versatile
Field Marketing Manager
to join our team and lead field marketing initiatives across a dedicated region in the US. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you'll be responsible for building and executing regional programs that engage prospects, support pipeline, and elevate Upwind's brand presence.
You'll own multiple field marketing programs in the US, helping shape how we show up in the US market. While you'll operate independently day-to-day, you'll be supported by a collaborative global marketing team and cross-functional partners who are invested in your success.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. The ideal candidate is resourceful, highly accountable, creative and thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple logistics streams at once.
This is a Field Marketing role and we are currently looking for qualified candidates in the PST time zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute regional field programs across the US with emphasis on the West Coast including executive dinners, meetups, workshops, trade shows, partner events, and Upwind owned activations that directly support pipeline and revenue goals.
- Own all event operations end to end including budgeting, vendor and venue management, shipments, booth setup, onsite execution, swag, and structured post event workflows.
- Partner closely with sales and demand generation to align on territory goals, drive attendance, influence pipeline progression, and ensure programs support measurable business outcomes.
- Maintain and continuously improve regional calendars, event overviews, documentation, and cross departmental communication to keep all stakeholders aligned and accountable.
- Collaborate with sales on prospecting lists, campaign alignment, and targeted outreach that amplifies event impact and follow up effectiveness.
- Tailor event experiences and messaging for local audiences while staying tightly aligned with Upwind's brand, positioning, and customer journey.
- Execute digital components that support field programs including invitations, landing pages, email sequences, and follow up cadences.
- Track, measure, and report on performance for every program including attendance quality, pipeline creation, pipeline acceleration, cost efficiency, and ROI.
- Provide data driven insights and recommendations to refine event strategy, improve operational efficiency, and maximize business impact.
- Build and strengthen Upwind's presence across US tech hubs and cloud security communities through consistent, high quality, brand aligned field execution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in field or event marketing at a high-growth B2B SaaS company—preferably in cybersecurity, DevOps, or infrastructure software
- Proven ability to plan and run events end to end including venue coordination, vendor management, registration, onsite execution, and post event follow up.
- Comfortable collaborating with sales teams to support outreach and prospecting initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Comfortable managing shipments, show services, AV coordination, swag, branded materials, and onsite logistics.
- Excellent communicator who thrives in cross functional work across sales, marketing, product, design, and leadership.
- Able to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Willingness to travel across the US (primarily the West Coast) and work onsite during event setup, execution, and tear down.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes or event materials (up to 40 lbs) as part of shipping, setup, and teardown duties.
- Located in the PST time zone, with a preference for Las Vegas or the Bay Area
