What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the property by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles in a logistics and distribution environment.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and/or visitors with questions and directions in a professional manner.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control, reporting all security-related incidents and/or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and client representatives as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents for review by Allied Universal and client management.
• Participate in periodic training sessions and/or briefings to stay updated on access control procedures and security-related responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
