What You Will Be Doing

• Designing and overseeing robust data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes to support scalable analytics and reporting.
• Translating business needs into technical solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders across departments.
• Establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks, quality assurance protocols, and engineering best practices such as CI/CD and documentation.
• Managing the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of the data infrastructure.
• Staying current with emerging technologies in data engineering and assessing their relevance to our ecosystem.

What You Need For The Position

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering
• Expertise in modern data architecture and warehousing, particularly with Snowflake.
• Demonstrated success in leading the design and deployment of complex, scalable data systems.
• Strong communication with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Python
• Experience with BI tools

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and SQL and proficiency with tools and technologies such as Azure Fabric/Data Factory, DBT, Fivetran, Postgres/Azure SQL, Airflow
• Experience in the healthcare or human services domain is a strong plus.
