Professional Security Officer

Distinguished Security Solutions (DSS) is actively building a roster of disciplined, reliable, and professional security officers for upcoming deployments throughout the Treasure Coast. We are seeking individuals who demonstrate strong communication skills, superior appearance standards, and a commitment to excellence in every assignment.
DSS represents a higher standard of private security services. Candidates selected for roster placement must consistently reflect our company's values, professionalism, and readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a polished, professional presence on assigned properties
- Conduct detailed foot and/or vehicle patrols as required
- Observe, identify, and accurately report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity
- Provide respectful and effective customer service to residents, staff, and visitors
- Follow all DSS operational standards and site-specific post orders
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members using approved channels
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class D Security License
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Demonstrated dependability and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
- CPR / First Aid certification
- Experience in HOA communities, construction sites, or commercial security
- Strong customer service and situational awareness skills
