Nursing Assistant II SCA

Position Description:
Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients every day? Were looking for a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant II (CNA) SCA to join our healthcare team. In this role, youll provide direct, hands-on care under the supervision of licensed nurses while helping create a safe, supportive, and healing environment for federal individuals served.
What Youll Do
- Take and record vital signs (including height, weight, intake, and output) and promptly report concerns to the nurse
- Assist individuals served with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and individuals served activities
- Support licensed nurses in monitoring individuals served status and reporting abnormalities
- Clean, track, and store medical equipment and supplies appropriately
- Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment by following policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Participate in shift huddles, staff meetings, and orientation of new team members
What Were Looking For
Education & Training
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training course (required)
Experience
- Knowledge of basic patient care methods, procedures, and techniques (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
Licenses/Certifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of practice (required)
- Must pass a Public Trust background check (required)
