What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and foster a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related needs and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
