Promotes accurate information from sales, engineering and then to the manufacturing group. In addition, the Project Manager will be a liaison between Phoenix Products and our customers by keeping them informed of their projects status during the manufacturing process.
Assists the Sales Department through technical support to include evaluations, reviews of all project specifications, and oversees their completion.
Provides technical communication with all manufacturers and their representatives.
Maximizes profits through purchasing and value engineering activities.
Manage master job schedule to ensure proper placement of projects according to set criteria.
Maintains sales estimated margins and when possible, improves margins through value engineering methods.
Monitor monthly revenue for the plant and report jobs at risk of slipping out of the project month.
Maintain open communication with customer PM's including approvals, parts (both purchased & customer furnished) and production status.
Monitor project statuses from release of PO, approvals, engineering drawings, shop packages and production.
Develop a project schedule on larger packages as to monitor and report the progress of the project at different intervals.
Maintain communication with Purchasing to ensure all purchased parts are acquired and delivered in an adequate time frame allowed for job completion.
Monitor and track project efficiencies and report major concerns throughout the project.
Manage and monitor changes to project scope and report impacts to project schedule and costs associated with scope change.
Effectively communicate with all internal departments and key personnel the highest priority projects as well as resolving any conflicts that impede the project schedule.
Communicate with customers the project status nearing completion to identify an anticipated ship date.
Coordinate a lesson's learned evaluation of larger project upon completion of project.
Identify and implement process changes from lesson's learned to eliminate waste and accelerate projects through production.
Provide pertinent feedback to Estimators during closing of projects that will enhance quoting of similar projects.
Coordinates shop buildup/fabrication work for all required projects and issues appropriate paperwork for these projects.
Coordinates drawings, as required, for submittals/fabrications.
Supports the Used Equipment Sales department with technical information as required.
Contributes to the evaluation process of all new products and services through research, testing and feasibility analysis of these products/services.
Maintains accurate records and files.
Maintains pertinent drawings, research materials, and submittal data.
Demonstrates effective time management and program execution.
Maintains self image, uphold company image and development and sustain departmental image.
Directly supervises employees on the administration team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Over 5 years of experience in Project Management directly related to Electric Power Generation.
Advanced Knowledge Of Computer Skills Required.
Experience using AutoCAD required.
Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Construction Management preferred)
Technical school Engineering degree and relevant experience.
