Job Title: HVAC&R Service Technician

Location: Rochester, NY

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated HVAC&R Service Technician to join our team for the long term. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who plays a key role in daily operations, servicing a variety of equipment including boilers, chillers, refrigeration units, and building ventilation systems. This position involves performing routine preventive maintenance, servicing contracts, and supporting new construction equipment start-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain various HVAC&R equipment, including boilers, chillers, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
  • Light commercial refrigeration, good troubleshooting skills of multiple types of equipment i.e.: chillers, walk-in cooler/freezers, steam boilers
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance in accordance with service contracts.
  • Support start-up and commissioning of new construction mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service.
