About The Position
We are searching for a
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our growing Life Science & Industrial team in Peachtree Corners, GA in a Technical Director role, taking leadership in the design of mechanical systems (including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing and piping) while mentoring junior/mid-level mechanical engineering professionals and supporting proposal efforts. Design projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to building systems design. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through a variety of design stages ranging from concept plans to construction documentation

Experience And Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
• 15+ years of related engineering experience
• Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD and BIM
• Experience mentoring and training employees
• Experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts and interfacing with clients
• PE license is a strong plus; EIT certification preferred with plans on obtaining PE license in near future
• Ability to travel 25% of the time
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
