Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that food safety standards are met and customers leave satisfied with their experience. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working with people, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting deli products.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads.
  • Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately process transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding menu items and specials.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing are required.
  • Culinary skills or experience in food preparation will be beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
