Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence in our restaurant. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
  • Manage staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and retention.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize supply costs.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Develop budgets and manage financial performance, including cost control measures.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and collaboration among staff.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Supervise shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
  • Experience with inventory management and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred.
