'Summary'

'We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control and Purchasing Specialist to join our buying team in the US. This buying role will work with the lead fresh fish buyer. This role is vital in managing our seafood inventory and procurement processes to ensure seamless supply chain operations and uphold our commitment to excellence.'

'Responsibilities'

' Oversee inventory levels and implement control measures to minimize waste and loss.

  • Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock management.
  • Analyze supply chain data to forecast needs and optimize inventory.
  • Collaborate with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms.
  • Maintain records of procurement transactions and inventory movements.
