Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (Flexible)

Additional Requirements: On-call and overtime as needed

Work Type: Remote with travel (0–150 miles per day depending on workload)

Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician to support a variety of clients by handling break/fix issues and project-based technical tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, customer-focused, and looking to grow their technical skill set in a hands-on IT support environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve break/fix issues, primarily focused on printers and related hardware.
  • Manage and complete project-based technical assignments for multiple clients.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication, professionalism, and timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and case updates.
  • Travel daily as required (0–150 miles depending on assignments).
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in technical support or field service.
  • Strong customer service and client-facing communication skills.
  • Hands-on break/fix printer experience is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification (preferred but not required).
  • General IT troubleshooting experience (desktops, laptops, basic networking) is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Field-based support with remote coordination.
  • Travel within assigned radius; mileage varies by day.
  • Flexible schedule with occasional on-call duties.
