Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily production schedules and operations to meet targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and product specifications.
- Manage, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a high-performance and safety-conscious culture.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and compliance standards within the production environment.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Monitor production performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for management.
- Coordinate effectively with supply chain, maintenance, and quality assurance departments to ensure smooth operations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing production management.
- Strong understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.
- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and safety regulations.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with automation technologies, Industry 4.0 principles, or smart manufacturing solutions.
- Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
