Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused UPS Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, merchandising, stocking shelves, and supporting retail sales activities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in retail or grocery environments. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus. The UPS Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers while maintaining store standards and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
  • Assist with product demos and upselling to enhance sales opportunities
  • Manage POS transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling
  • Maintain merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure products are well-organized and accessible
  • Support inventory management through stocking and product replenishment
  • Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or team members
  • Promote store promotions and assist with retail sales initiatives
  • Supervise or assist in supervising team members as needed, ensuring smooth store operations
  • Engage in retail math tasks such as calculating discounts, totals, and inventory counts
  • Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for shoppers

Skills

  • Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales transactions and inventory management
  • Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos
  • Upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities
  • Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
  • Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
  • Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is advantageous
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory calculations
