About the Role

Family Forum, Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to support the school readiness of children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to nurturing early development through individualized learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a supportive team environment with an Infant-Toddler Aid (Monday–Thursday)
  • Oversee a caseload of 4 infants/toddlers (ages 6 weeks–2 years)
  • Partner with families to set learning goals and plan experiences tailored to each child's unique needs
  • Integrate sensory learning across all developmental domains
  • Facilitate individual and small-group activities to promote growth
  • Promote health and safety awareness through supervision and positive redirection
  • Conduct home visits and center visits for assigned caseload
  • Assist with family scouting and enrollment

Qualifications

  • Required: Child Development Associate (CDA) or state-awarded equivalent with infant/toddler development training
  • Completion of Introduction to the Early Childcare Profession, Infant Toddler Fundamentals and Skills and Strategies for the Early Childhood Teacher non-credit courses at time of hire
  • Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (required within 3 months of hire)
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
