Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in accounting standards such as IAS, IFRS, GAAP, and ASC 606, with a strong background in corporate, governmental, and non-profit accounting. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, risk management, budgeting, and strategic planning to support organizational growth and compliance. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing financial analysis, investment management, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across all financial functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and interpretation of comprehensive financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
  • Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and bookkeeping activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage treasury functions including cash flow management, investment strategies, and risk analysis to optimize financial health.
  • Develop and implement financial policies aligned with regulatory standards such as IFRS, IAS, GAAP, and ASC 606.
  • Conduct risk management assessments and develop strategies for risk mitigation across all financial operations.
  • Lead budgeting processes, cost control initiatives, and cost management strategies to improve fiscal efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and manage regulatory reporting obligations efficiently.
  • Oversee financial software systems to streamline accounting processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Provide strategic financial planning support for business development initiatives and organizational growth.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements.
  • Supervise the finance team to foster leadership development within the department.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in corporate finance, public accounting, or governmental accounting roles.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS, IAS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards; experience with technical accounting is highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts including revenue management, profit & loss analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and cash flow analysis.
  • Experience with financial software systems and general ledger reconciliation tools.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Knowledge of compliance management practices related to regulatory reporting requirements for various sectors including non-profit organizations. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $100,000.00 per hour
