We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making within the organization.

Duties

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Perform account analysis and account reconciliation to identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare regulatory reports as required by governmental agencies or other stakeholders.
  • Assist in budgeting processes, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights on financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
  • Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and cash management principles.
  • Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in financial data management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience using various accounting software platforms.
