Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Seasonal Game Masters to join our entertainment team at a vibrant resort. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy creating memorable guest experiences, managing fun activities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors of all ages. As a Seasonal Game Master, you will be the face of our interactive games and attractions, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations throughout the season. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality setting, utilizing your skills in guest engagement, event management, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee various interactive games and attractions, ensuring they operate smoothly and safely.
  • Engage with guests of all ages, providing clear instructions and assistance to enhance their experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and address any concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Assist with event setup, organization, and breakdown for special seasonal activities or themed events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of game areas to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately when applicable, including ticket sales or merchandise purchases.
  • Enforce safety rules and respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents, including lifeguard duties if applicable.
  • Support other resort operations as needed, including guest services or food service activities during peak times.

Experience

  • Previous experience in events management, hospitality, or customer service roles preferred.
  • Conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • Experience working with children or in a recreational environment is highly desirable.
  • Background in lifeguarding or water safety is a plus if working near aquatic attractions.
  • Strong public speaking skills for engaging with guests and leading group activities.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems.
  • Experience in food service or theater environments can be beneficial for certain attractions or themed events.
