As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for everyone onsite. Pay Rate: $19.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any unusual circumstances.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of all individuals entering or leaving the premises.
• Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter potential threats and reassure authorized personnel and visitors.
• Report all security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services when required, providing accurate and timely information during incidents.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation in a thorough and timely manner as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Follow all company and client protocols for handling firearms and other equipment associated with an armed patrol post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
