Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves handling various warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and possess the skills necessary to ensure efficient distribution and storage of goods in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with experience in warehouse management systems and safety protocols are highly preferred.

Duties

  • Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately
  • Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials during transportation within the facility
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Stock shelves and organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space utilization
  • Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and data entry using AS400 or similar systems
  • Perform materials handling tasks including heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and best practices during all warehouse activities to maintain a safe working environment
  • Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with supervisors and team members for smooth operations

Experience

  • Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and warehouse management software such as AS400 is advantageous
  • Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment like reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse environments
  • Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and repair is a plus
  • Experience in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, stocking, packaging, and materials handling is desirable
  • Warehouse supervisor experience or background in manufacturing or construction environments will be considered beneficial
