Looking for a dependable candidate who works safely, has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and works effectively in a team environment. We provide on-site cafeteria services for our manufacturing facility employees.

Currently hiring for night shift full-time kitchen cook with occasional day shifts as needed. This position is scheduled for four shifts per week and requires some weekend work. Night shift hours are 7pm to 3am; day shift 7am to 3pm.

What Cardinal-Portage Has To Offer- Competitive Starting Base Wage with increases at 6-month intervals

  • Night Shift Base Wage $23.75

  • Day Shift Base Wage $21.75

Requirements

  • Experience in restaurant cooking and prep work preferred.

  • 32 hours per week including some weekends

  • Primarily working night shift from 7pm to 3am

  • Occasional day shifts when needed.

  • Good customer service.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Multi-tasking abilities with the cash register, cooking, and reading recipes.
  • Must be 18 years of age to apply.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical ability test, background check and drug screen
