Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for food, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, taking their orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high service standards.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
  • Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.

Skills

  • Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and restaurant operations is preferred.
  • Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
