Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their visit. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
  • Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
  • Maintain an organized waiting list during peak hours and communicate wait times accurately.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Assist with phone reservations and inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.

Qualifications

  • Previous Host/Host or food service experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus.
  • Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A friendly demeanor with strong guest relations skills, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
