EPIC Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and motivated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP or QMHP-T) to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality, person-centered services to children, adolescents, and adults in both in-home and community-based settings.
The QMHP plays a vital role in promoting recovery, independence, and wellness through therapeutic interventions, skill-building, crisis support, and education—all under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct services, including Mental Health Skill-Building, Crisis Support, or Intensive In-Home (IIH).
- Deliver person-centered care in homes and community settings.
- Qualified Mental Health Professionals are required to use their personal vehicles for visits and for engaging in community activities.
- Conduct assessments, write service plans, and maintain timely documentation.
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and support systems to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assist individuals with de-escalation techniques and provide mental health education.
- Participate in required training and team meetings.
- Maintain compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, MCO, and EPIC Health Partners policies.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Registered as a QMHP or QMHP-T with the VA Board of Counseling.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a Human Services-related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling).
- At least 1 year of behavioral health experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening.
Work Environment
- Field-based role requiring travel to client homes and community locations.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and engage with clients for extended periods.
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings or weekends, may be required.
